Graves v NZ Police, 2010 HC Rotorua, Lang J
Mr Graves was convicted of assaulting police after a defended hearing in Taupo. I was instructed to appeal the conviction to the High Court in Rotorua and appeared in front of Justice Lang who heard the appeal. An application was also made for a discharge without conviction which came very close to succeeding. This case was interesting as it raised important issues in regards to firearms, self defence and defence of property. |
